Vista Slow Boot - How to Make Windows Vista Boot Faster Without Difficulty

After being used for a while, I believe you will encounter and be annoyed with the "Vista slow boot" problem with the increasing programs/files you have on the computer. 1. Regularly clean out Windows registry. We all know that no matter what programs we install on the computer, it will add entries to registry and recall it for related data when booting up or running programs. 4. Defragment your hard drive. Lots of PC users will ignore this tip when trying to solve Vista slow boot problem. Actually, it is one beneficial way to make Vista boot faster because it helps the disk head to quickly reach what it needs when booting up the computer or running other programs. A simple defragment process will reassemble the fragmented files on the disk, making them stay close and much easier to be reached. To fix it, just go to Start ->All Programs ->Accessories ->System Tools ->Disk Defragmenter and run it to defragment your hard drive.
